David Ricardo (1772 – 1823) adalah seorang pakar ekonomi politik Inggris. Ricardo adalah salah satu pemikir ekonomi klasik yang paling berpengaruh, bersama dengan Thomas Malthus, Adam Smith, dan John Stuart Mill.

Quotation David Ricardo ini diambil secara acak dari berbagai sumber, hal ini untuk menggambarkan pandangan-pandangan-nya,  agar kita dapat mengingat dan merenungkan kembali. Quotation-quotation itu antara lain adalah sbb :

• Meningkatnya keuntungan adalah syarat untuk meningkatkan kesejateraan buruh  (David Ricardo).
