(Ramon Magsaysay)

Mutiara ini berisikan beberapa "quotation" dari Ramon Magsaysay (1907 – 1957), seorang politikus Filipino yang terkemuka, serta presiden ketujuh Philipina  Ramon Magsaysay meninggal dalam suatu kecelakaan pesawat terbang, pada tahun 1957, di Cebu, Philipina. Berikut ini adalah beberapa "quotation" dari Ramon Magsaysay, yang diambil secara acak dari berbagai sumber, untuk kita kenang dan kita pelajari.

1.   Negara ini [Filipina] adalah seperti piramida, terdiri dari jutaan batu ... Dan batu fondasi dari piramida ini adalah manusia biasa (Ramon Magsaysay).

6.   The difference between both is that social entrepreneurship has a much more financial transparency. There is no financial viability and that is where a corporate sector makes a difference because we maintain a balance between both the financial status and the social service (Ramon Magsaysay).

7.   Saya percaya bahwa mereka yang berkekurangan hidupnya, harus lebih banyak memperoleh perlindungan hukum (Ramon Magsaysay).

Itulah sejumlah quotation Ramon Magsaysay ; perlu pula  disampaikan disini  bahwa Ramon Magsaysay adalah  sarjana hukum alumni “University of the Philippines”. Dan sewaktu Ramon Magsaysay menjabat sebagai presiden, Philipina sedang menghadapi pemberontakan Hukbalahap (Hukbalahap Rebellion).

Disamping itu nama Ramon Magsaysay juga telah diabadikan dalam bentuk “Ramon Magsaysay Award”, yaitu suatu penghargaan tahunan yang diberikan bagi mereka yang dipandang memiliki integritas dalam pemerintahan, melayanani rakyat dan masyarakat demokratis.
